NAF Helicopter Destroys Boko Haram Camp In Borno State

The camp is located between Malam Fatori and Kangarwa in northern Borno State, according to Mr. Famuyiwa’s statement. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Director of Public Information, Ayodele Famuyiwa, announced that a Mi-17 helicopter attacked a Boko Haram camp during a night operation in Borno State, killing 300 terrorists. The camp is located between Malam Fatori and Kangarwa in northern Borno State, according to Mr. Famuyiwa’s statement. This offensive operation followed a similar one carried out by the NAF on August 20th, 2016 about five kilometers away. After the damage assessment conducted by the NAF it was found that the remnants of Boko Haram moved to the new location which was attacked last night. The petition, dated August 24th, 2016, said that while there may have been successes under Mr. Boroh’s leadership there is a need for a comprehensive audit to establish whether there were any illegal diversions of funds.
